The Bazzaz Air and Fuel Sensor Bung Plug must be used if your exhaust is not equipped with the correct size for the Bazzaz Sensor.  This collar can be welded on to your exhaust system for proper installation of the sensor.

For proper sensor installation, the Lambda/O2 sensor should be installed at a point which permits the measurement of a representative exhaust-gas mixture i.e. just downstream of the collector on a multiple cylinder application. In applications with a catalytic converter, the sensor must be mounted BEFORE the converter. Installation angle should be inclined at least 10° towards horizontal which prevents the collection of liquids between sensor housing and sensor element during the cold start phase. Proper bung placement and sensor installation are vital, otherwise sensor accuracy and ultimately its lifespan can be affected. On turbocharged engines the sensor must be installed after the turbo charger, if not the pressure differential will greatly affect the accuracy of the sensor.
